Ripple Mood Lamp

Ripple mood lamp explores the interaction between a glass globe its cast metal base. Initially designed to appear that the globe had fallen on the base, deforming its shape in a splash. In development, the splash shape was mirrored on the underside of the base to add lightness to the design and to reduce materials.
